Uttar Pradesh UP Elections Exit Polls Results: The last time a total number of political parties- national, state and registered (unrecognised)- which participated in the Vidhan Sabha election was 222. An elections exit poll or survey is a survey of voters taken quickly after they have left the polling booths. Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections 2012 Results:
In the last UP elections 2012, Samajwadi Party (SP) won a majority, and Akhilesh Yadav became the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh whereas BSP won 80 seats and Bhartiya Janta Party BJP won 47 seats, and Congress won 28 seats whereas others including independent candidates won 24 seats. Last time in Lok Sabha elections, the Varanasi Uttar Pradesh parliamentary constituency contestants were Narendra Modi and Arvind Kejriwal, the historic seat for Congress is Amethi.
After the election campaign starts all the political parties ready, Akhilesh Yadav, Mulayam Singh Yadav. Mayawati, Rahul Gandhi, Sonia Gandhi, Sheila Dikshit (former Delhi Chief Minister) and other members may campaign for the political parties as UP elections are very important for all political parties. Other elections in states like Punjab, Manipur, Uttarakhand, Goa (UT) has been conducted in the first quarter of 2017 (February), AAP Aam Aadmi Party contested the Punjab, Goa polls but not in UP elections.
